Why Success is About Action

Updated: Aug 13, 2019

No matter how great your business plan is, it requires actions if you are going to succeed.

Have you ever prayed for money and one day you checked your bank account and saw a large sum of money deposited in your account? Or a stranger knocks on your door with an envelope full of cash?

Of course not. That never happens and it probably never will, simply because money does not work that way.

Let me reveal the best kept secret about money to you. This one statement will change your life forever.

Money answers to IDEAS not PRAYERS.

I want to repeat that so it really sinks in to your mind. Money answers to ideas not prayers.

Think about it, everything you see around you right now was first an idea in someone's mind. And that idea was acted upon and turned into a product or a service and you and I exchanged our hard earned money for their idea. As a result, the person got richer because we bought their idea.

Think of it this way, when a person with a great idea meets a person with money, the person with the idea leaves with the money and the person with the money leaves with the idea. It's that simple.

The truth is, you have money right now it's just called an idea. An average person has at least 3 gold mine ideas per year, and if they were to act on just one it would bring great financial rewards, and change their life forever.

The idea could be to write a book, create a blog, a product or service, or do something unique that has never been done before. Regardless of what the idea is, you have something of value to offer.

But here is what most people usually do, they do not act on their ideas. And what usually happens when you don’t act on your ideas is that It gets transferred to someone else.

You have to realize that great idea never goes to waste. If you fail to act on an idea it gets transferred to someone else that will.

That's why you often hear people say things like “That person stole my idea” or when they see someone that took action on an idea they had they’ll say “I was just thinking about doing the exact same thing.” The only difference between the two people is that one acted first.

I've discovered that one of the reasons why people don't act on their idea is because they often procrastinate or are just too lazy.

They are not willing to do the work necessary to make their idea a reality. So they’ll rather continue to depend on luck or a miracle. Listen, There is no shortcut to financial success. God will always supply the ideas but you have to do the work.

Proverbs 10:4 (GNT) says “Being lazy will make you poor, but hard work will make you rich.”

So right now, I want you to think about an idea you have been sitting on for weeks, months or even years, and ask yourself this one simple question:

What do I need to start doing right now to make this a reality, and then get to work.

Remember, there is someone, somewhere around the world thinking about the exact same idea you have right now. The only question is who is going to act first?
